Art In the Dark: Charlie Le Mindu

Elle Saint Deveil

Charlie Le Mindu is the epitome of strange couture.Metaphorically speaking. He’s edgy, he’s bizarre, he’s ultimately one of the most creative people to show at Couture Week. Think of him as the Lady Gaga of high fashion. Which is why ‘lovers of imagination’ in high fashion, adore him. He took the standard and threw it out the door. Essentially making him ‘the man that pushed fashion’s limits’. But hey, isn’t that what Couture Week, is all about? For some, what only matters is the quality of the garment and how it will work creatively on celebrities for future red-carpet mayhem. But for others, it’s an art show. And you can guess, Charlie Le Mindu, exhibits one hell of an art show.

Check out his latest adventures at Paris Couture Week for Spring/Summer 2014, above.
